This Sunday is Mother’s Day (consider this your courtesy reminder 😊), and today I want to salute mothers!
Mother’s Day is a big deal. In 2023 there were 23 million flowers sold, 113 million cards purchased, and $35.7 billion spent on Mother’s Day in the U.S alone. It’s the busiest day of the year for restaurants and phone calls (122 million phone calls in 2023 on Mother’s Day).
The stats I found most interesting were that 78% of mothers say they’ve never been disappointed with a Mother’s Day gift and yet 93% of moms reported feeling burnt out at least some of the time. I’m not sure you get more motherly stats than that … they are burned out and yet grateful!
I tip my hat to you moms, you are amazing!!!
There are 77 million moms in the U.S. and 2.2 billion worldwide. These ladies are heroes!
In this world that so dramatically lacks leadership, moms are real leaders. Some are quiet and reserved, some outgoing and boisterous, but all of them are bold & brave.
Where does one even begin to describe the impact mothers have on our lives? I think a few of these quotes from some famous people maybe begin to scratch the surface of the greatness of motherhood:

To the amazing mothers out there we say THANK YOU!!! Thank you for your sacrifice, your guidance, and your love.
On a personal note, to my mother: Thank you mom for your godly wisdom, non-stop prayers, encouragement, and selfless love. I can’t imagine the man I would be today without you. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!!!
