So, Taylor Swift had a pretty incredible year. Her Era’s Tour personally generated her $10 million – $13 million per show.
My friends, she did 152 shows!
It’s estimated that she personally made around $4.1 billion from that concert series in 2024. $4,100,000,000!
Not bad for a year’s worth of work, huh? 😉

Now, Taylor is an incredible talent and has been massively rewarded financially for that talent, but you know who makes her wealth look small?
None other than Elon Musk.
On Thursday, October 24th, after Tesla’s positive quarterly report, Elon Musk’s net worth grew by $33.5 billion. His daily net worth gain was over 8x more than Taylor Swift made on her entire Era’s Tour!
Now, this is actually quite simple. Elon Musk owns roughly 23% of a publicly traded company, and when that company’s value increased, his net worth increased as well.
Here’s the thing … we all have an opportunity to profit from equity (stock) ownership as well. We probably won’t own 23% of a company the size of Tesla, but the same principle applies: business ownership is an amazing way to build wealth.
This is true no matter who is in the White House, who wins the Super Bowl, or how much tickets cost the next time Taylor Swift rolls into town.
